There are very few wedding venues in the Savannah Georgia area that pack a punch like the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. They do a wonderful job combining the modern coastal look and the romantic Savannah charm. Random Fact: The Nicholas Spark movie "The Last Song" was filmed at this chapel. I haven't seen the movie, but my wife says that it is a must watch for the romantic drama lovers!

My first impression when opening the doors to the chapel was that the space had beautiful craftsmanship and very tall ceilings. There is a beautiful simplicity in the chapel, yet the space isn't boring. It leaves plenty of opportunity for the bride and groom to shine, and provides subtle compliments as a backdrop.

After the ceremony your guest have a dedicated cocktail room where they can socialize and relax indoors. A great bonus because the Savannah heat can be a bit much for your older guests.

While your guests are hanging out you can literally walk to the Tybee Island Beach and get magazine worthy wedding party and couple photos. If the beach isn’t your thing there are several options on the property that provide great backdrops as well.

When it's time to get the party started you are hosted by a grand ball room with expansive ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and tons of natural light. If you want an epic introduction make sure you use the grand staircase for the entrance to your reception.
